ODE TO ANASTASIA JONES

Joey has recorded his favorite song from the Bonnaroo Songwriting contest, lyrics by Anastasia Jones and Joey, music by Joey. The song, entitled "Sink In Sand" can be heard by clicking here and using your ears.

Your ear flap, the outside part that we know as the ear, catches sounds like a cup. Then sound travels down the ear canal to the eardrum. The eardrum is like a tiny drum, When the sound hits the eardrum it vibrates. Enjoy!

Ropeadope and Joey Arkenstat are proud to announce that the new album "Bane" will be released worldwide on August 21st on Ropeadope Records.

The album (Produced by Phish bassist Mike Gordon) was recorded over a series of years, and it came out so well that we swear you can actually taste sweet, sweet ice cream in your mouth as you listen. Let's face it, it took a long, long time to record -- after all, copper is so unspoken of; except among some roofers.

Joey has been spending long evenings and mornings (not afternoons) at the studio working on his next album, tentitively titled "Bane." We're expecting a release within the first half of 2004.
